Craft Central ~ Styrofoam Egg Carton Polly Doll Furniture


How to Make Styrofoam Egg Carton Doll Furniture

Items you need:
Styrofoam Egg cartons, washed and dried
Scissors
Glue, Tacky glue works great for this craft
Acrylic paints of various colors
Paint brushes, rinsing water
Old Newspapers to work on





Cut egg cartons in small pieces as shown in this photo, making a tiny sofa. Use the bottom of egg carton to cut pieces from where the egg's sit, to make curved pieces for legs for chairs and tables.
Note: Length of the sofa is approxiamately: 3 1/2 inches long, 1 inch wide and back height of main sofa piece is 1 inch also.

Glue together your pieces, and paint. Let dry.

Size of chair bottoms are approximately: 2 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide

Size of bed: approximately: 2 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide



Here is a final photo of the egg carton kitchen table and chairs.
Size of egg carton table is approximately: 2 inches round, and 1 1/4 inches tall
Size of egg carton kitchen chairs are approximately 1 1/4 inches tall for the chair legs, and 1 inch wide for the chair seat.
